Challenge: This full service printing company named to the Inc. 500 provided a unique challenge to The Benefits Dept. Led by a very capable Director of Human Resources, they had put together a complete benefits package and were doing a fine job of administering their benefits and providing orientation meetings for new hires. So how do you improve on that? Solution: By providing a kiosk to this printing and fulfillment company, The Benefits Dept. helped them communicate their benefits more effectively. Staff from The Benefits Dept. trained the first, second and third shift workers on the use of the kiosk so that they can look up information at their leisure-- even if it's 3:00 am. Employees are able to access their customized website to connect to a carrier, find a participating provider, print a claim form, compare plan options, check payroll deduction amounts, and often check claims through the carrier link. The Benefits Dept. is also there to hold a periodic Open House for employees to get their benefit questions answered or for help with a claims issue. And The Benefits Dept. is there at renewal time to negotiate with insurance carriers on behalf of the company. |
